John and his entire staff were very professional, but more importantly very approachable when it came to class instruction. After attending the Wendelstedt Umpire School in January of 2023, I attended the Umpire Placement Course. UPC is outstanding in every way. I honestly enjoyed it more than Wendelstedt. You are able to get real world 3-Umpire system game experience. If you're new to the 3-umpire system, and/or NCAA Baseball, I suggest you study up before attending. The instructors provide personal attention, and care that you absorb what is taught in the curriculum. UPC Director John White is a straight shooter. He will tell you where you stand, with no games. If you want to umpire college baseball, high school, or in a summer collegiate league, you have to attend this course, period. I got a West Coast League position this past season, and it was a blast.

As a 2019 graduate of the Wendelstedt Umpire School, I was a little disappointed I did not get a job in professional baseball. Once I heard about UPC and the opportunities they were providing, I knew that was what I was going to pursue. UPC is a great camp with very good instruction, both in the classroom and on the field.If you are interested in working high-level college summer baseball, this camp and it's staff are going to get you prepared to do so!
